Safety Officer
To ensure the implementation of all health safety and environmental (HSE) procedures across the factory premises and to create a safe working environment by identifying potential risks and enforcing safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and inspect workplace activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and UAE labor laws. Lead site safety audits inspections and incident investigations. Develop and deliver safety training and induction sessions to new and existing staff. Maintain all safety records and ensure documentation is uptodate. Respond to and manage onsite emergencies providing first response and coordinating with emergency services as needed. Recommend and enforce corrective actions for any unsafe practices or conditions. Promote a strong safety culture across all departments. Requirements Minimum 3 5 years in industrial safety (cement construction or heavy industry) Experience in a cement manufacturing plant or construction industry is a mandatory prerequisite NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / other recognized HSE certifications (mandatory) Strong knowledge of UAE health & safety laws and industrial compliance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong documentation/reporting abilities Physically fit alert and responsive to factory operations
